Dr.Shardul Kulkarni has an experience of over 13 years in India and South East Asia. His areas of specialization include Strategic Energy Management, Performance Improvement, India Entry, Financial Due Diligence, Growth Strategy Formulation. He is a certified Energy Auditor from Bureau of Energy Efficiency, an offshoot of Ministry of Power. Also, he is certified “Lead Auditor for Energy Management ISO 50001” from BSI.He has hands on experience for strategic energy management, waste disposal strategies, energy cost reduction, O&M strategy, regulatory compliance, techno-commercial due-diligence, project development and finance, acquisitions, valuation, bid-process management and regulatory/commercial matters in power and other energy intensive industries. Among others, he was instrumental in acquisition due-diligence for 5 MW W2E project in Northern India.He is part of Smart Grid Core Group at Confederation of Indian Industry and has been invited at many conferences to present papers on new and upcoming areas sector such as W2E, Energy Management Excellence, O&M outsourcing, ash management, coal gasification, PPP in water management etc.He has authored several thought leadership articles in various areas such as Industrial Hazardous Waste, Strategic PAT Management, O&M Outsourcing, water shocks for power plants, Green Telecom Towers, Shale Gas, Energy Efficiency Power Plants, Rooftop Solar in leading business magazines.
