Mr. Rahul Chhabra, a young, dynamic personality completed his master’s in business studies from France. On graduating, he founded ‘Proton Enviro Solutions Pvt. Ltd.’ with a vision of revolutionizing the waste industry in India through providing professional, state-of-the art solutions for integrated solid waste management with a commitment towards excellence. With his exceptional expertise in this field, NSWAI appointed him as the Vice President, NSWAI in 2013. Since then, he has been working with municipalities across India to develop a more effective waste management system at an urban and rural level with strong focus on improving collection efficiency, effective waste transportation and maximal waste diversion. Mr. Chhabra has developed first-of-a kind unique cost effective sustainable model for rural India based on an integrated solid waste management approach. He has also been working in awareness and education campaign in Waste Management for common citizens and waste managers selflessly since he became a part of the association. And presently he is heading the ‘Clean up Trip - All India Clean Campaign’, with its footprints already laid down in North – east India. Mr. Chhabra has also been associated with various research Institutes and Universities in India and abroad and has participated in various National and International Conferences on waste management.
