Over Rs 4,000 crore electricity bill payments due in C'garh
Over Rs 4,000 crore electricity bill payment remains to be recovered from different consumers in Chhattisgarh, of which industries have an outstanding of Rs 23768.81 lakh, the Assembly was informed today. An amount of Rs 304925.94 lakh is due to be collected fromgovernmentdepartments.In a written reply to a query of an independent MLA Vimal Chopda, Chief Minister Raman Singh said, "electricity bills worth Rs 4195.80 crore is to be recovered from power consumers industrial, non domestic/commercial, government, civic bodies, domestic and agriculture sectors, in the state as on January 2017."
