Maharashtra rules out relief on inflated electricity bills for consumers
The Maharashtra government has backtracked on its assurance to give relief to power consumers who got highly-inflated bills during the lockdown period.Maharashtra energy minister Nitin Raut on Tuesday ruled out any relief for the consumers claiming that the consumers would have to pay the bills as per meter readings.
