DMRC sticks to stand on electricity tax dispute with Noida; Admin recovers Rs 4.3 crore
The ongoing dispute between Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) and Noida administration over payment of electricity dues worth Rs 9.70 crore seems unlikely to be resolved any time soon. The administration has recovered a part of the dues by attaching a bank account of the transporter while DMRC is sticking to the stand it is not liable to pay any dues.“The amount is being demanded by M/s Paschimanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam (PVVNL) in respect of the electricity tax for DMRC's electricity connection in Noida.
