Centre seeks progress report on power projects

A senior UT official has said that the Centre asks for this progress report on a regular basis and the administration will submit it promptly. The official said: "Most of the power units and substations planned for the city are long-term projects, which will take years to finish. The administration had filed a similar report with the joint electricity regulatory commission (JERC)."
