Finalisation of Indian
Negotiating Draft Implementation Agreement of Mangdechhu Hydroelectric Project
in Bhutan
A meeting was convened by Joint
Secretary (Hydro) on 22nd October, 2009 to discuss the above issues in which
Joint Secretary (North), MEA also participated. In the meeting it was decided
that CEA shall review Para 3 of Article 9 of the Draft Implementation Agreement
and provide an alternative draft formulation.
Accordingly, the Para 3 of
Article 9 of Draft Implementation Agreement has been reviewed and following
draft formulation is suggested :
