India’s green energy sector has turned a corner after the record low wind and solar power winning bids.While developers quoted a price of Rs3.46 per kWh for a 1 gigawatt (GW) wind tender by state-run Solar Energy Corp. of India (SECI) on Friday, the winning bids to build 750 MW solar plant at Rewa in Madhya Pradesh were for Rs2.97 per kWh recorded in the week before last.
