Summary
The promoters of Panna and Mukta oilfields - Reliance (30%), Enron (30%) and ONGC (40%) - have decided to increase crude oil and natural gas output from these two oilfields. By March 2000, the companies plan to increase crude oil production at the Panna-Mukta fields to 30,000 barrels per day from 27,000 barrels per day in 1998-99. Gas production from these fields is likely go up to 2.5 million cubic meters per day from 2.0 million cubic meters per day in 1998-99. Estimates of recoverable reserves from the Panna-Mukta fields have increased by 36% to 287 million barrels from 210 million barrels.......
