  • New Delhi: Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) on Tuesday, 25th October 2022 has surpassed the milestone figure of 100 million tonne (MT) coal production for Financial Year 2022-23.

  • The Public sector undertaking (PSU) produces 168 million tonnes coal in FY 21-22 a 14% increase in the year.

  • With coal production growing at 22% over last FY'22, MCL surpassed 100 MT coal production mark a month & six days before it had achieved same in 2021-22.
