The plan to convert more vehicles using petrol and diesel to those running on compressed natural gas (CNG) has picked up steam with the Indian Oil Adani Gas Private Limited (IOAGPL) preparing to roll out 12 more outlets in Kochi and its suburbs by March 31.
As of now, there are seven CNG outlets in and around the city and the demand for the greener and more economic fuel has been going up.
