Study of Competitive bidding of Captive Coal blocks

Scope : Infraline Energy was engaged by the prospective client to study the competitive bidding of captive coal blocks and the status of development so far.The study has divided into two modules. The first module covers the status of development, risk analysis and the hurdles faced by the coal block developer and the second module covers the analysis of the proposed competitive bidding of captive coal blocks and identification of gap areas. Under this study, in addition to the data available in the secondary domain, primary research was conducted through field visits to captive coal blocks to understand the ground realities of problems faced by the project developers.
